Hello guys! I need some advice regarding my situation. I graduated as an international student in 2011. Right after that, I found 2 jobs (one full time and one part time) under Post Graduation Work Permit. I had been working for more than a year in those two jobs, but in September 2012, I went for vacation in the Philippines. I thought I was gonna stay here for good so I resigned from my full-time job while in the philippines.

Now, my situation is, my Temporary resident visa has already expired and I would like to apply for a re-entry visa. I do have a valid work permit open to any employer valid til june 2013.

My manager in my part time job gave me an approval of Letter of Vacation so I can submit it along with my re-entry visa application here in the Philippines.

Would that letter be enough to be approved? Do i need to show proof of funds? Pls help.

Thanks in advance!

I think you are good to go in applying your trv in the phil as long as the letter states that you are just in the phils for a certain period of time for your vacation..the checklist doesnt state proof of funds...work permit is what matters to the embassy....but let us see what other people say here in this forum abt your situation right now....that was just my opinion though....

Thank you kindly jomarcabiles for your immediate response.

Any other thoughts/opinion guys? What else do I need to do/include to be approved?

If you are able to - you can drop by CEM in the morning and inquire personally. Describe and show them what you have, they will direct you how to proceed.
