applying re-entry visa while new work permit is on process

Hi!i need some advise on how can i apply for re-entry visa while my new work permit is still on process.Because Im planning to go back in the Philippines for vacation but i don't have a valid visa to re-enter here in Canada and my work permit is expiring soon.what should i do, so i will not have a problem in re-entering again here in Canada?thanks..

1. You can't apply for a new TRV until you have the new work permit in Canada.
2. So you have a choice, wait for the work permit, apply for TRV in Canada or wait for work permit, apply in Manila for new TRV.
