Hi,

one of my friends is applying soon for immigration but two sons but one of them is a young, disabled child. I would like to know if he can apply without including him in the application, by giving an affidavit with the original application. He is applying from London and the Visa office medical instructions suggest that Medical is required for all applicants included in the application. If he does not include him at this stage ( He will mention him as his child in children infomration but not paying the fee for him), will he need to go for medical exam for himself, spouse and the other son.

I suggested him to apply for all four at this stage and see if the disability can improve. in case it does not, he can provide an affidavit later to withdrwaw his disbled child.

Please advise.

Both children must be included in the application. Even if the disabled child is not accompanying them to Canada, he must still pass the medical.
