Hello Canadavisafollower,
Congrats again. Please I want to find out, by what means did you receive your ppr from cic, NY. Is it by email or regular mail. I did my medicals, myself and my wife October 2009 and sent them same month. But to date, I hv not received any ppr. I am more worried because they hv not even updated my ecas to medical received till date. I did track the medicals, and found out both had got to ottawa. I sent them email, asking for an update, still not response. Pls do u hv any advice.

I got it by regular mail. Don't bother too much about the online status. The consulate seems pretty erratic in updating that. And yes, you wouldn't get a reply to your email as well. I think you should get it very soon, next week or 2 at the max.

I am also on the same page. My status is still the same. I had my medical done in Oct. 09, but still the online status says "in process", "your docs have been sent to NY consulate, NY office may contact you".

keep updating with your status.

hi all,
congrats to everyone wh have got their PPR, I think me and BEE 123 are in the same boat. Medicals sent on oct 09 and still e-cas showing in-process. Its more than 12 weeks and still waiting for feedback from NY consulate. Its really frustrating.

Anyone can tell me , the reason for the delay and when can we ctc NY to check the sts and get update.

Even if my eCAS changes to medicals received, still no ppr yet. I think it does matter too much.
Anyway, hope my CAIPS arrives tomorrow or next week.

My file got transferred from Buffalo to NY on December 8th 2009. My detailed timeline is below.
Ecas is still showing the status as 'Received by visa office'. Can you please tell me when it got updated to 'In process' for you guys. Was it updated immediately after the transfer to NY?

Its really depressing to see the same status on ecas every day. I have not heard anything from NY after Dec 8th

AOR from NS CIO : Jan 2009
2nd AOR from Buffalo : May 26th 2009
File Transferred to NY : Dec 8th 2009

Please advise on my case.

I hope that Buffalo picks up the pace from here on. From what I see is that they probably started started working on app from 2009 as a whole and move with formidable speed.
