Applying for work permit while my PR application is in process.

Hello all,

I submitted all the required documents and currently, my PR application is in progress. I recently received a job from a Canadian Firm and they let me know that they will be applying for my work visa shortly.
1. Considering the fact that my PR application is in process, will I face any issues with the issuance of the Work Permit or at the Port of Entry?
2. Can I apply for a Work Visa when my PR application is in-process?
3. Is it better to cancel my PR application and just proceed with Work Permit and apply for PR later?

Please help me, I greatly appreciate your valuable suggestions and inputs.
