Applying for visitor's visa while waiting for the PR visa?

Hi again!

We applied for the spousal visa and my husband is my sponsor, and he got a letter already from the CIC stating that he is approved being my aponsor and the
File was transfered at Manila already. With the strike, we know that it's gonna take awhile. So, my hubby wants me to apply for a visitor's visa. So, my question is, anyone have done this before? Applying for a visitor's visa while waiting for the PR visa? Or how much is the chance for approval?

The chances are low because you're from Phillipines (a non visa exempt country). Also the chances depend on whether you have a stable job, money, # of family members living in Canada, and your travel history.

My best suggestion is to get your husband to visit you from time to time, rather than the other way around.
