I have recently graduated in CANADA. (post grad)
I have received my post grad work permit for 1 year.

now i am planning to apply for visa to re-enter into canada if i travel to my home country( i need visa to re-enter into canada).
i have following questions.

1. do i need to fill this form?

(IMM 5257)

2. WHAT SHOULD I WRITE FOR CURRENT STATUS( Student?)

current occupation?(student?)

please let me know.

Thank You,
KUTTTY.

I think what they meant by 'current status' is your current visa status. I could be wrong, please check.

thank you so much for your response.

please could anyone resond to my question..

i got my PG work permit yesterday..

so will my status changes from student to worker...

please answer me...thank you...

you could write, "recent graduate" as you current status and yes if you have PGWP you're considered as a worker.

Cheers ;-)
