Applying for USA Green card -regd

Hi ,
I am on a US student VISA and I married to a canadian resident girl. She wants to move to USA and apply for US green card.
I would really appreciate if somebody could answer my following question:
1. Can she apply for US GC or citizenship the moment she land in USA . If not when?
2. How long it takes for her to get US GreenCard (she will apply for GC outside the California state) ?
3. What are her chances of getting a US citizenship or GC compared to other immigrants. (i heard there is not much of
a difference when canadian resident or a non-immigrant like me is applying for GC. The process is same.Do the canadian residents have an edge?
