Hello Members,

I and my spouse applied for TRV but refused on following grounds:

You have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident.
In reaching this decision, I considered several factors, Including:

  • Your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence.
  • Purpose of Visit.

I have already shown them enough ties like:

My docs:

1) Well established/permanent/stable job
2) Letter from employer
4) Leave application approval from employer
2) Bank accounts

Wife's docs: (She is a PG student)

1) Her college ID copy
2) Leave approval letter from college
3) Bank Accounts

We also provided return flight tickets, hotel reservations proof and funds available proof.

The purpose we want to visit was clear and was tourism as we took the package from travel agent cox and kings.

I am applying again with few more documents this time to show ties like:

1) Apartment booking letter.
2) Bank letters.
3) Parents property documents.
4) Letter from the employer stating that I will be joining them again after the vacation.

What more should I show them ? Please guide.

Other than above docs, I have attached following:

My Docs:

  • Passport Copy
  • Salary Bank Account Statement for last 3 Months
  • Last 3 months Payslip
  • Rent Agreement
  • Fulltime Job offer letter
  • Temporary Leave letter from employer
  • Funds available proof letter from bank manager
  • Other bank accounts proof and statement
  • Latest Form 16 (Income Tax Document)
  • Credit Cards copies
  • Parents property documents
  • Credit Cards Statement
  • Return Air tickets from to India

Spouse's Documents: (She is a Post Graduate Student)

  • Passport Copy
  • College ID Card
  • Leave Letter from College
  • Bank account proof

Other documents:

  • Marriage Registration Certificate
  • Marriage ceremony photographs

What else is required ? It is my dream tour, but now it looks like hell to me to get a TRV.

Do you have any relatives living in Canada ?

No I dont have any relative in Canada. But a friend who is also on a student permit.

I think it's always wrong to buy tickets to use to travel to another country requiring you to have a visa. Now the tickets would be wasted but I hope you can re-apply and visit Canada soon.

Cheers!

Hi Friend

It has become so common now. They refused my spouse s visitor visa two times, I am also Indian student in Canada. I suffered a lot, But no use. I tried everything to prove his ties to India, but they just dont see. Now I gave up finally.. :( But I wish you LUCK, its hit and trial >:(

Hi Abhisri....just wondering if your second attempt was successful?

@abhisri200k
This kind of applications are often refused unless you are a business man and have a lot lot of money in your bank account.
And you don't care about spending 7,000-10,000 $ (at least for 2 persons) in a tour like this.
If you don't care about this amount of money, then you should own 20x this amount in your account ...

They is the way they think !

In my opinion, you should have at leat 250,000$ in your account to convince the VO that you are going really for tourism.
If you own some properties in your country like home, entreprise, that's will help you too

I want to tell you that Canadian Citizens have difficulties to get TRV for their parents !!
So imagine how the VO will deal with a young family (i guess) having no relatives in Canada.

They may think also, if you want to go really for tourism, why you choose a country too far from you ? you have a lot of touristic countries around
