** Applying for Super Visa of Parents in Canada **

Hi,

My parents are currently visiting me on visitor visa and have their Visitor Visa extended for another 6 months. I would like to apply for Super Visa for my parents from within the country.

1. Would like to know if Super Visa can be applied from within Canada?

2. Is marriage certificate must while applying? Since they currently have arrived on Visitor Visa, they are not carrying their marriage certificate along with them. Is there any alternative?

Hi Viraj,

1. No. They must apply for super visas from their home country

2. If their passports have each other's names as spouses then that can be submitted instead

Thank you for the response. Yes they have spouse names on their passports.

I checked with Immigration lawyer today and he informed that Super Visa can be applied from within the country.
