Hello,

I graduated with Hospitality Management Degree in 2015. I had decided to study in Canada afterwards and even got Admission, however, I didn't apply for Visa after I found out I had HIV. Since then I dropped the Idea to study ahead in Canada but I've been thinking about starting the procedure again. I do have solid 3 years unemployment history and after that I used family land for farming purpose. Do you think I should apply for masters and go ahead with the procedure?

If your medication costs less than about $20,000 per year then you are likely admissible to Canada. The question then becomes if you can explain why you want to come to Canada when it would be cheaper to study in your home country. What would a Canadian degree add to your job prospects?

Medical inadmissability works different for students than PRs but there are certainly students who have been approved with HIV. Without a work history it will be challenging to show how a degree will lead to career advancement at home.
