Hi,
I am on closed work permit set to expire in Nov 2022. My wife just joined a Masters program in Canada and has a Study Permit valid till Nov 2023. I am working in Canada (on Closed WP). I want to apply for the open work permit based on my spouse's status as a full time student and a study permit holder. I have two questions:
1. Can I apply that? I think I am eligible for that.
2. I got my current WP via a flagpole done on Nov 2019. Now WP application has a question on my entries into Canada, specifically in section "COMING INTO CANADA" Question 3 which reads "Date and place of your most recent entry to Canada (if not same as Original entry)". Now last time I visited border was when I did flagpole afterwards ... Well coronavirus messed up everything in this world. So, does flagpole visit to border counts as latest visit to Canada or does previous visit to that is latest entry to Canada?
3. When I did flagpole I got a white slip from USA agents which is usually called an "Administrative Refusal" to enter USA because I wanted to do only flagpole. I will include this in my question detail information anyways. Is it fine?
