Applying for PNP in Canada and getting PR confirmation while outside of Canada

Hi! Does anyone know if it's possible to stay outside of Canada while waiting for PR confirmation? I'm employed in Canada and have a valid work permit. I've applied through PNP as a main applicant and I'm planning to leave the country until I and my husband get PR. Would there be any possible issues with entering Canada again if we get PR confirmation while being outside of Canada?

I received an email that asked me to confirm that I was in Canada and that they approved my application. I replied saying that I was not in Canada and planning to return in a week. Then they said that they will pause the landing process and resume it once I would be back in Canada. So I landed on my work permit and visa, then emailed them back saying that I arrived and then they approved my and my husband's PR and we got our eCOPR letters.
