Applying for Parents + Brother Visitor Visa

Hi all,
I am applying for my parents Visitor visa, with my mother as the principal applicant. I would also like to include my brother as another applicant in the same application.
However, I have heard from my friends that it's a better idea to apply for my brother (he's 25 years old) to minimize risk(?) Not sure if that's true just want to know tour opinion on this matter.

Your brother needs to apply separately. He's too old to be a dependent in your parents' application.

We have the same case. You can include your brother in your parent's application but note that your brother needs to provide strong ties to his country preferrably under his name. eg. a business/stable work/properties which your brother is managing or under his name.

Anyway, this is just based on my experience so we can wait for other comments here.

Just an update as I got news from a friend. 4 of them applied thru ircc portal --- parents and 2 children both around 20-23 years old. The family is wealthy so they can probably show a lot of properties. However, the result is Parents got approved but both children was refused. So I guess they are evaluated individually regardless if they applied together.
