My husband is currently under PGWP and it’s expiring in June. He is applying for a BOWP soon, as our PR application under EE (CEC) has been in processing for a year and half because of COVID. He is employed under NOC type A. We had applied for a joint application. I’m an Outland applicant and he is Inland.
My question is, can I apply for an open work permit now regardless of his switch to BOWP as my PR is under processing too along with his or should I wait for him to receive his BOWP application approved before I apply??
Also how long does it take to get approved??
