Applying for new pp, after sending application to oinp!!

Hi,

I will have to apply for new passport due to spelling error in my father's name on my pp.

Query is that i have already sent my application to oinp and now heading towards renewal of my passport.. will that make any difference? And Do i need to update oinp upon receiving new pp?

Plus while writing LOE i have already mentioned in that i will apply for renewal of pp and have an affidavit attached on spelling error.
Pls guide

My guess would be yes; principally because your New PP will have a different document identification number to your old PP.

hi all,

I have already applied for PR after receiving ITA.

Have renewed and received new passport because it was expiring in 8 months.

Query is

1. how to update new passport as the medicals are passed but background check in showing not needed yet.

2. or if not needed to update at this movement, then when?
