Applying for Extensions to Temp Work Visa - Full-time vs Part-time

I'm currently holding a temporary work visa. I would like to extend it before it expires early next year.
If I have a job and apply for an extension, will Immigration Office accept a part-time permanent position, or can it have to be only full-time hours?

Is it still the case for all work permit extensions that you need to have a full-time offer of employment (as opposed to part-time)?
