My partner is a Canadian Citizen and I am from the UK, we are currently living outside of Canada, but plan to move to Canada in a few months. We are about to submit our application for a common law partner visa (from outside the country).
My question is as follows: Can I still apply for a Work Permit, even though I/We are not applying from within Canada?
....Everything I read online, says you can apply for a work permit along with your common law visa application, but only if you are already living in Canada.
Really appreciate any help or clarity on this and apologies if it is a silly questions!
