Hey folks, Is there any problem with receiving an immigration status in another country just before applying for Citizenship? I'll fill it out in the application under the list of statuses someone else. Also, the requirement for intent to live in CA is removed. Still going to stay in CA for a few months. Will also have an address thereafter and can fly quickly for any test/interview etc.

Prepare a cover letter explaining this situation, and add it to your application. Who knows, you might even qualify for the urgent processing.

BTW, beside in the application, I was explicitly asked about the PR, and work statuses in other countries also during my interview.

I wonder how admitting to recently acquire status in some other country would be accepted by the IRCC officer.

I just did the same thing. I had a work VISA for Australia just before applying for Canadian citizenship. I notified it in my application. Let's see how it goes.
