Applying for Citizenship from outside of Canada

Hello - I'm eligible to apply for citizenship and I accumulated enough days to apply. But I am outside of Canada right now. Can I apply and submit my application while I am outside of Canada? TIA

When I became eligible to apply on October 11th 2017 I was on a three week business trip to Europe. I put that trip in the residence calculator, wrote down there also the expected date of return to Canada, and sent my application from Europe.

Everything was processed quickly.

Thanks for your reply. One of my concerns was how to fill out the online presence calculator. Did you use the online calculator and provide explanation there? or did you fill out the manual form?

I only completed the online presence calculator and entered the estimated return date in the future.

I put the additional explanation in the reason column.
