The condition of showing four months bank statement is only to discourage people from asking relatives to give money to show to VO. Once the visa is issued, such transferred money is sent back to the relatives (atleast thts wat VOs think). If ur depositing the money by selling ur own possessions then all u need to do is show them the trail i.e. show them which properties u sold and tht was the money tht u deposited in the bank.
In this case u shdnt worry abt keeping the money in the bank for four months or 12 months or four years.
Its all about submitting the proper documents. VOs r not ur enemies. U just need to convince them of the fact tht tbe money is actually urs no matter how long it is kept in the bank.

Have you done IELTS? although I am waved off by university I am still attempting it to make my case strong. Can you share the details of process of application of visa via paper based process. What documents are required.

Gather all your educational and job experience documents and training certificates if you have any. Get notarized each and every photocopy. Why you have been waived off from IELTS as majority of good institution in canada demand for IELTS score for Pakistanis however if you have been waived off it is good but from visa officer point of view you must have some documents which can show your command over english and IELTS is best one. I did IELTS from BETS Lahore and after 45 days prep i got 7 in each module.

Get paper visa application at CIC. All questions for SOP are written there for which you must have to answer and to include it in your SOP.

Ur gpa is definately a trouble maker for u
I know someone who got in lakehead uni and MUN wd 62% in bachelors
Both unis have masters of engineering but
U shd check these unis for ur program bcz i hv not reseached electrical engineering

I got visa thee years ago and my GPA was 2.66 in 4 years Bachelor Degree.
