Applying for Canada PR was Out of Status for few days in US

Hi,
Currently iam working in US on H1b visa. Previouslyi was out of status for few days and i went back to home country and got Visa stamped and reentered US on H1B.Now i want to apply for canada PR.
1)Will there be any problem in applying PR since i was out of status for fewdays?
2)My visa expires by Oct2010 and i have 9 years of IT experience,Is there any chance to get canadian PR?How long will it take?
