Hello Visa Experts!
Please help out with the following queries:

As a general overview; My wife is going to apply for an eTA in the coming weeks, however, she had an open work permit denied before, but she holds a valid US Visitor visa.
1. Do you think is possible that her eTA application will be denied as well?
2. When she is filling out the application form, came out a question "Have you ever applied for or obtained a visa, an eTA or a permit to visit, live, work or study in Canada?" - Does she have to answer YES even if the previous open work permit was denied?
3. For this question: "Have you ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry to, or ordered to leave Canada or any other country/territory?" In her case, the answer is YES, nonetheless, the system opens up an extra question: "For each refusal, please indicate the country that refused you a visa or permit, or denied you entry, as well as the reasons provided to you by the country". - Does she has put all the reasons stated in her refusal letter? or maybe just her UCI?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Regards,

1. It's always possible for a permission to be denied.

2. Of course she has to answer yes: she applied for a permit to work in Canada. Why would she be able to say no?

3. She has to say yes, and she has to enter the reasons why she was denied her permit.

Thank you for the answers Sir.
