Hello, I am from México, currently i have been thinking to travel to Canada. However,
I was detained at the US border 4 times and sent back to Mexico! With this i mean crossing the border iligally.
I never made it to the USA.
Will i a be able to travel to Canada?
Should i aply for eTA?

US and Canada share information so CIC will definitely know about your illegal border crossings. I don't think you will be approved for an ETA.

The only thing you can do is apply for the ETA and be honest about your history including the 4 times you were detained at the US border.

Note that even if you slipped through the eTA net, CBSA could bounce you back at your Port of Entry. You will be subject to inspection there, even with an eTA.
