I am about to start the application process for the Alberta PNP. I graduated with a MSEE degree on August 2008, but I switched my career to IT due to recession and job market conditions. I've been living in the US for almost 4 years now and my work experience in the US is about 2 years. My question is if I should apply to the PNP with my IT work background or just with my EE education background. The problem with my IT background is it doesn't fall under any category listed on the NOC and I don't have any relevant work experience in the EE field. I don't know how to go about this and I am pretty sure some of you have faced similar situation like me, so if anyone could help me out with this, it'd be great.
