applying for a travel permit while being currently in Canada

Hi,

I am currently in the process of renewing my pr card (its been 1 year and two months) still in process. Anyway, I havent traveled outside canada since then, and I have to travel for two weeks in August for a family obligation back home. I read about the travel document but I understood that I have to be outside canada to submit the application forms and supporting documents. I do not want that.Is there any option to issue the document while being in canada. I am pursuing my masters degree and do not want to be delayed for any reason if I do apply after i travel.

No - you cannot apply for a travel document from inside of Canada. You can only apply from outside of Canada.
