Hi Everyone

Probably you have answered this question before, but I could not find the discussion, so here it is.

I worked in Canada for 2 years as a temporary worker (2013-2014, doing research at a university), I submitted an Tax Application after my first year there and got back part of the money I had paid in taxes. Now I just moved to Germany and my wife and I (we both worked in Canada in 2014), want to know if we can apply this year (2015) for a Income Tax refund. In case it is possible to do that from Germany, where can I find the links with the info from CRA.

Thanks

There's a lot of variables here depending on what part of the year you left Canada, any assets/accounts/ties you may still have, and the tax treaties with Germany.

I would suggest starting here http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/tx/nnrsdnts/ndvdls/lvng-eng.html

Regardless, you can file a paper return from abroad whether you are deemed a resident or non-resident to various addresses in Canada (listed on the CRA website).
