Hi All,

Seeking help here. I and my family (Mom and Dad) have approved US visa and we have been to US 3-4 times and Now I want to apply for Canada visitors Visa for me and my Mom and dad so We started with questioners created the account and now we have the checklist with us but I have few questions;

1.) In section "Details for visit in Canada" what should I put under Funds available and "Name, address and relationship of any person or institution I will visit " . for now I have Put $3000 as funds available for a visit. is this amount sufficient? and since we don't know anyone in Canada what are we supposed to put under "Name, address and relationship of any person or institution I will visit"?
2.) Do we need to provide any additional documents to prove the funds available or My job or my Father's business? In the checklist, they didn't ask anything. they have only asked for passport copy, family information form, and IMM5257e form.
3.) I have been asked to add additional form which is 5713E form (family representative ). Me being primary applicate I have to get it signed by my parents. do I have to print, signed and scanned this form to upload it? I think yes.,
4.)Also, Do we have to add an explanation letter that gives an explanation of the purpose of visit, length of stay and itinerary?

appreciate your help with this

Now I want to apply for Canada visitors Visa for me and my Mom and dad
Unless you are a minor, you would be applying separately. Your parents will submit their applications together through another online account.

Funds available for the visit = An individual's liquid finances (bank balance + other liquid finances). It is not an arbitrary amount.

CAD 3,000 will not cover the cost of the visit for 3 persons + airfare for 3 persons.

and since we don't know anyone in Canada what are we supposed to put under "Name, address and relationship of any person or institution I will visit"?
The hotel where you will be staying.

2.) Do we need to provide any additional documents to prove the funds available or My job or my Father's business? In the checklist, they didn't ask anything. they have only asked for passport copy, family information form, and IMM5257e form.
Please go through the Document Checklist (NOT the checklist generated by the eligibility tool) + Visa Office instructions for your country + this forum for suggestions.

The documents you have suggested are the absolute minimum that will not result in TRV approvals.

3.) I have been asked to add additional form which is 5713E form (family representative ). Me being primary applicate I have to get it signed by my parents. do I have to print, signed and scanned this form to upload it? I think yes.,
You are not the primary applicant.

Your dad will be the primary applicant for your mom and his applications. In that case, IMM5713E is not required if he applies directly.

You can submit IMM 5713E as their authorized representatives i.e. if you apply online on their behalf or if you submit paper applications for all three applicants.

4.)Also, Do we have to add an explanation letter that gives an explanation of the purpose of visit, length of stay and itinerary?
Again, please go through this forum. You've asked very basic questions which indicates you are not aware of the type of documents and evidence that you must submit for a Canada visa.

Also:
1. Hope you and your parents have a history of traveling abroad together to visa-required countries together (US, UK, Schengen, Australia, NZ, etc).... and can prove it.

2. Hope you have a strong reason/purpose to visit especially as all of you are applying/want to visit together.

3. Each applicant must demonstrate his/her individual/collective strong ties to your country of residence
