Applying as a caregiver in the Philippines

Hi! My sister is a doctor in Vancouver with a 10 year old son turning 11 this october. I would like to know please the following:

1. What doesmy sister need to do first...LMO? Then what?
2. How long is the processing of the LCP LMO in Canada?
3. How long is the processing here in the Philippines?
4. Can i apply for the LCP from Canada or should it be done from the Philippines?

All other advise pertinent to my queries would be greatly appreciated.

@hmm maybe the best thing mag agency na lang sister mo in vancouver,
pwede na cya as ur employer.12-18mos daw po pag dito sa philippines.
if i were u apply as Dh or caretaker hongkong or taiwan destination after one
year u can apply as live in caregiver.

1.If your sister wants to hire you, she needs to get a positive LMO in Canada please check this website for the procedures: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/employers/lmo-basics.asp.... and once she received the positive LMO she will send it to you together with a contract and then you can apply for the LCP in the Philippines, of course you have to have all the other requirements as well.
2.Processing of LMO in Canada depends in provinces i guess, my sister took almost 2months before she got my LMO, she's from Ontario
3.according to website its gonna take 15months for LCP application in the Phils once they received your complete application
4.LCP application should be done in the Phils if you are in the Phils i think...

Btw, all my answers were based on our experience and im currently completing papers for submission, goodluck to us!

she need to post an ad first to the job bank here for 14 days to make sure there's no Canadian wants to apply to that job

then she need to register to Prince george that she wants to hire you,after the replied from prince george

then complete all the applications and the requirements all at the same time and send the replies to you..

that's the new procedure as of April 2012..hope it will help...
