Apply visitors visa for parents inside canada

My parents are coming to Canada and their visitor visa will expire in November. Can I apply for them visitor visa for them from inside Canada , don’t want to extend their visitor stay , instead can I apply for visitor visa ??

You can apply for a new visitor visa. However they will still need to apply to extend their stay if they want to remain in Canada after November without leaving. If you want them to stay in Canada past November, there is no way to get around applying for the extension. You will have to submit an application to extend their stay.

I intend to apply for Super Visa for my mom (shes already in Canada on a visit visa). Is the Super Visa stamped on the passport ? I am mindful of the fact that her passport expires end on next year (2022) so will that have any bearing on the validity of the Super Visa or will it be issued for 10 years irrespectively ?

Her super visa will only be issued for the duration of her passport validity. So no, she won't get a 10 year super visa. She will get a super visa that expires along with her passport in 2022.

Also She can’t apply for a Super Visa within Canada. When she returns home then she can apply for one.

yes, you can apply for a visitor visa record the processing time itself 6months after you apply they can stay here in Canada till the final. My in-laws got approved for 9 months

Hi Shiva - did you apply for your parents visitor visa from inside Canada? Can you guide me through the process? I'm in a similar situation as my mother's Visa expires on February 12 2022 and timelines in india are crazy. I have already extended her stay for once.

If she wants to try and remain in Canada she needs to try and extend her stay. She doesn’t need a new TRV to remain in Canada. She only needs a new TRV to enter Canada. At a certain point extensions will be denied and she will need to return home to establish her ties again.
