Hi Everyone,
I am in process of applying student permit for canada for 2017 Fall semester. Could anyone please share their experience in applying online or approaching a consultancy?

Also my IELTS would complete 2 years on 8th august 2017, so does this mean i should rewrite IELTS and then apply for visa application or just proceed with my current IELTS score?

I am applying from hyderabad, India.

Thanks in Advance!

I did all the process by myself. But that was only after reading a lot, asking a lot of questions and researching a lot online. I was able to understand the visa officers minds... so, it will depend on you. Having a consultant doesn't mean you will get approved/refused. Not having one doesn't mean you will get approved/refused...

Thanks Daniel!

Any info if i should write IELTS again or should i directly apply to visa? Since my ielts will complete 2 years this august 8th, do you think it will be a problem to my visa application?

Anyone who were in a similar situation , please do share your thoughts.

Thanks!

How good is your IELTS score? If it is pretty good, then you wouldn't have problems using it, despite of the expiration date. Otherwise, if you think you can improve your score, then take another test.

If the visa officer feels you need a new IELTS, then they might request it. Otherwise, you should be fine with the dates...
