Apply on July 11th. Received no updates! HELP!

Guys! I applied for a study permit from Canada on July 11th. It's been 4 weeks and i haven't received any updates on my application whatsoever. The status have not changed since the day that I applied.
No updates on my medical... NOTHING! My dad was a diplomat and he got reassigned. I've been in Canada for 4 years if that helps my case.... What's going on? Pls help!
Applied online.
Study permit is for Ottawa u finance, first year undergraduate.

It's not unusual for processing to take well over a month. There's really nothing you can do but wait.
