I also applied on 30th May and got my medical passed and it is saying now we are reviewing your eligibility..

I submitted a temporary resident visa (Tourist visitor) on late March for me ,my spouse and my son and still under processing ,
Currently my son got a university offer and need to apply for a study permit .
My question is can he applies for a study permit while his TRV application is active and under processing.The problem is that the course will start on september 2018 and the date isapproaching ,I am worried because the study visa will take at least 45 days and he needs to apply as soon as possible .please help can heapply while his TRV appliction is active or what are the alternatives?
