Apply for TRV or Extend stay in Canada for Kids

Hi, I am here on a closed work permit and the extension has been granted for my spouse and 2 kids. My elder one is 12 years old and younger one is 4 years old. Both of them have got their extension granted till next year.
I have to apply for extension of visa for my dependents and hence wanted to know if I need to apply for my spouse through online and for kids through paper mode? Or can I submit the application online itself for all 3 of them?
Also, please let me know the timeline as well.

Hello. I'm in the same situation. I need to apply for the TRV of my minor children but when I do, they ask me for the IMM 5708 form, which is not correct.

Hi I'm facing the same situation. When I answer questions on the ircc website I always get 5708 form and 5727 is optional. How did you resolve this?

If your children are 4 or over you should be applying for a study permit not just an extension of their visitor statuses. Your spouse should also be applying for an OWP.
