Apply for TRV in a third country as a tourist

Hi all!

I’m currently in Turkey on a three-month exemption entry visa (I’m not a permanent resident here). I’m about to apply for a Canadian TRV and now wondering if it’s alright todo so while not being a resident here? A quick Google search says it’s fine but wanted to see what you guys think.

Yes, you can do that. This generally weakens your application and reduces the chances of approval. But you can certainly do it.
