Hi everyone,

I recently received my CoPR and I'll soon drive to Niagara and land as permanent resident :).

I have a question though as to how to get the PR card. I've been checking the documentation and I saw you need to apply and prove you will live in Canada for at least 70 days in the next 5 years. What is it required to prove it? will my job contract work?

Also, is there any easier way that I can apply for the PR card from within Canada or go somewhere where I can talk to someone in person?

Thanks in advance! :)

You don't apply for the PR card separately if you are just landing now. The form you found is for PR card renewals. You will receive the PR card automatically a few months after you land.
