Hi everyone!

I'm in Canada in a graduate work permit. Recently I lost my job and now I have to go back home for emergency situation. My entry visa has expired. I checked the processing time in buffalo and it stated 122 days.

Do you think it's a good idea to good to go home and apply for a re-entry visa?
I can get a letter from employer saying that they want me to come back for job and I can proof that I have money to support myself!

Please help!!!

I have to idea where you got that processing time from. You require a TRV (visitor visa) and the processing time shown for Buffalo is 21 days and Detroit 7 days. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/temp/visitors.asp#west Read further instructions here: http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/detroit/imm/visa_temp.aspx?lang=eng#PROCESSING
