Apply for Permanent Residency after receiving removal order

Hello,
my fmaily received a removal order for not fulfilling residemcy obligations. We are from Egypr. Security conditions there are quite unsafe for our children to get back in country with whats going on there now. A lawyer suggested filing a new application for permanent residency on H&C grounds, with regarsd to safety and security situation in Egypt. Will this work ...? Any Advise ...?

Given that you have now have the removal order, I don't think you have a hope. Any H&C issues would already have been taken into account. Obviously there were none that were compelling enough.

You can't exactly claim to be a refugee as you have managed to find somewhere else to be for the days you were supposed to be in Canada.

Of course, if you want to put your lawyer's children through college, go ahead and try...
