Hello,

I am currently waiting for my PR to be processed, and I have just applied for the eTa. Do I need to inform on my PR application that I received the eTa?

Also, if my PR gets approved, I will need to give up on the eTa, is it correct? How do I inform the CIC that I'm giving it up?

Thank you for the help!

Sorry this may be a stupid question, but I am in the same situation, waiting for PR to be processed, I want to apply for visitor visa, is it acceptable?

You don't need to mention or inform anything to IRCC. eTA is done completely separate from any PR app.

Yes it's perfectly fine. TRV would be processed separate from your PR app.
