Apply for Citizenship (minor) - Passport expires

Hi,

I am applying for my daughters Canadian citizenship (Jan month). Her current passport expires in April month.
Can I still apply for the citizenship (minor)?

Looks like we don't need to fill passport information in the minor application, but I will have to provide the passport copy as part of the photo ID while submitting the documents.
