Hello, I am a visitor and I've found a college and I applied for it. Now I have to change my visa status, but my travel agency is saying that I have to apply back in my country and I can wait here until the process is finished and then I have to go to the USA and cross the border control there when I receive my visa.
Or they say that I can send my application to the USA but some people say that is not a good idea because in the USA they are going to deny the visa.
And back in my country it's going to be better.

WHAT CAN I DO? Help, please

To be approved for a study permit, you must demonstrate that you have ties to your home country and have no plans on remaining in Canada long term. It can be difficult to prove this if you are already in Canada. For this reason the chances of approval are typically higher if you apply from your home country. Your choice.
