Apply for a post graduation work permit while having an implied status

Hi

My application to extend my study permit has not been processed yet (I applied before the expiry date of my study permit) and now that I have graduated I want to apply for a PGWP. It says that one of the conditions for applying for PGWP is having a valid study permit.

Does anyone have a similar experience? I could not find any information on CIC website.

Well its kind of complicated situation. As far as I understand the confirmation receipt of extending student permit should work in your case.
I would like to know a bit more about your case like what was your expiry date of study visa and when you applied for extension and when you graduated cause I do not know why did you do this much delay which cause unnecessary complications.
