Apply EE + Family Sponsorship at the same time?? IS THAT OKAY

Hi Guys,

I’m internally about to submit my family sponsorship-spouse in land tomorrow….
As I recently received an ITA, I’d like to proceed my PR application via Express Entry as well as applying family sponsorship at the same time.

I called CIC agent today, they said you CAN NOT have two applications for permanent resident even if it’s under different categories ?

Inland sponsorship takes 12 months, EE takes 6 months. Think you can stick with only EE for now.
