Applied to OINP - status still Submitted

Submitted my application to the OINP (Intl Student w/ Job Offer Stream) on the 6th of December 2018 and the status is still Submitted. Is there a status that implies the application has been received?

Mine changed to Assessment and then Decision in Progress. I think I'll know the answer when the first draw of 2019 happens (around the 23 - 31 of January)

So I think they actually do process them but since we are between yearly resets right now your profile won't be updated as it should be. If you want, call them or email them and ask about the status. They're very responsive!

Yes. I'm not eligible for EE because I don't have 1 year of skilled work experience in Canada yet.

Neither. The OINP stream under which I applied gives you a nomination letter and work permit support letter that you can use to (a) apply for PR on paper (not through express entry) and (b) apply for a closed LMIA-exempt work permit.

Did your status change? Because I am facing the same situation. I submitted my application on Sep 20 and my status has not changed from being submitted.

Yes, please have patience... My status changed to assessment after 34 days and currently I m sitting in DIP state and awaiting nomination. I completed 60 days today still waiting...

From submitted to assessment u get mail for application completeness. From Assessment to DIP u don't get any email.
