It has been more than 3 weeks since I have applied for Study permit for canada..and there is no response yet except Medical pass(on 14th oct)
My profile-
10th - 84% (2008)
12th- 77% (2010)
Btech(civil)- 70.2% (2014)
Ielts- 7.5 overall (not less than 7)
Applied for Univ of Manitoba
Course- Master's (civil engineering)
I dont know why they are taking too long to make the decision. Plz suggest me something to do

Visa Applied on 10th Oct at New Delhi. Category: General, Mode: Paper Based.

Both of you have high chance of visa approval. Don't worry. If you think you have provide enough financial proof of fund then no one can denied you visa.

I have shown fee receipt of 1 year and GiC. This is exactly the requirement.
I have not attached any ITR or any funds.

As far as my funds are concerned, lets say I have shown almost twice the amount required by my full 2 year course(includes ITR's, Bank accounts, property, my salary slips, CA Report etc.)

First of all, wish u best of luck for getting medical call. This means that you visa has got approved.
I applied on Oct 31, 2014, no updates, waiting but I have seen some post on this forum who are waiting since June, july.

in which university were you trying to apply and how much u showed bank statement?
 
Has anyone got an update on their visa status.

I am still waiting for my status to change online. Right now it shows Medical as passed.
