Hello Anyone who can help me with my situation.

I applied for the student visa on the 30th Dec and I got a refusal today from LA VFS.

The main reasons are:

1.have sufficient and available financial resources, without working in Canada, to pay the tuition fees
for the course or program of studies that you intend to pursue
2. have sufficient and available financial resources, without working in Canada, to maintain yourself
and any family members who are accompanying you during your proposed period of study
3.have sufficient and available financial resources, without working in Canada, to pay the costs of
transporting yourself and any family members who are accompanying you to and from Canada.
4. immigration status in country of residence
5. length of proposed stay in Canada
6. purpose of visit
7. current employment situation
8. personal assets and financial status.

I am single and 28 so I do not understand why I have to show financial covering family traveling with me. My siblings are all legal residents in the USA and are not going with me. I have never been refused a visa and I have traveled to a lot of countries. As for my job I explained in y SOP why I am unemployed.

I thought I had a pretty good SOP and the only reason I can think of for the refusal was my finances - only 10,000 in bank and my proposed course was a diploma but I have a masters but I explained why the course was relevant.

Can someone help me with some insight should I get more money and reapply?

You needed to show a bank balance that covered (at a minimum) first year tuition + $10K in living expenses. Without this, refusal is guaranteed.

Are you a US resident or just a visitor? It sounds like you're just a visitor. If that's the case, this likely contributed to your refusal. To be approved, CIC want to see that you have ties to your home country and have no plans on remaining in Canada long term. This is more difficult to prove if you are outside of your home country.

What evidence did you provide of ties to your home country?

I am a visitor in the USA. but the problem is I am a permanent resident in the other country of residence so its hard to show strong ties. should I leave it out of SOP when I reapply?
My parents live the country in which I was born but I haven't been back there in mare than 15 years so I have no ties there either.
I can you please give me some guidelines how to best outline my SOP =?
