I had applied for PR under federal skilled category in Dec 2003 from New Delhi and my AOR date is 17-Jan-04.

Since last 18 months I have been living in the UK. I have neither requested for change in mailing address (my parents are still living in India at the same address that I mentioned in the application) nor have I informed CIC / embassy in Delhi that I have moved to UK. Planning to do so (inform them of UK residence) when I send the updated documents (in response to updation request).

I would like to know if it is possible to get the medical tests done in the UK? And can the passport stamping be done here too (in UK)? Or will I have to travel to India for both these things (aassuming I am not called for an interview - which will make it 3 trips to India!!).

Thanks in advance.

1. You can have the medical tests at any DMP in the world, just ensure that the DMP forwards the Medical results to the Regional Medical Office in New Delhi. Note if your medicals are furthered for more tests, you have to return to the same DMP.
2. No, you will have to submit your passport to Delhi, since it is illegal to mail Indian passport in or out of Delhi, you will either have to take it yourself, or have a trusted person take it to India for you.
