I applied for my work permit extension before my current permit expired, so I am on maintained status right now. If I leave Canada for a short trip while the extension is still processing, I know I lose my maintained status.
1. I have visitor visa valid for 10yrs and can I re-enter Canada with that?
2. After re-entering Canada, can I resume working immediately if my new work permit gets delivered to my Canadian address while I am away?
I am on spousal open work permit and my spouse is on ICT and she will be in Canada all these time.
Has anyone experienced this situation recently?
