Applied for TRV AND when to receive it

Hi there, I have walked in to the office of new york and submitted my TRV documents on OCT 25th whichi is a Thursday and the guard told me I would be able to get my visa back on the following Monday. The office has closed for one week due to the hurricane and When I checked the website today I saw the NY consulate office has stopped receiving TRV application since June. Can anyone tell me what has happened and tell me how to deal with that? I don't have time until the thanksgiving week which will be November 18th to 25th. Am i able to get my visa back during that time？Thank you so much.

New York still accepts TRV applications. You misread, they don't accept TRP(ermit) applications.
