Hello,

I'm sponsoring my wife and sent in the application package in April. I still haven't heard anything or received any notification, but I'm taking a new job in a different province and will be moving in a few weeks. My sponsorship application has all the details for the old job and address.

Does anybody know how to inform CPC, and whether or not this will affect our application?

Unless you're moving to Quebec, it shouldn't affect the process at all. Ensure you have your mail forwarded, so you can receive the sponsor approval letter if they send it via snail mail. I know some March sponsors were notified of approval via email, so it's possible you might be notified that way as well, but do ensure your mail is forwarded just in case.

You will need to advise CPC and the visa office processing your wife's application, as she would have listed your old address under that question about where she plans to live in Canada. As I understand it, this is where they will list her address for the PR card. You should be able to change your address via eCAS (Update this home address) once you have access, and she can always submit the information once she gets her file number from the visa office.
